An Oriental Garden Lizard was just finishing a snack in the Thai jungle of Khao Sok, Thailand. Fully zoomed at 400mm (640mm equivalent of 35mm) I was able to get him close without disturbing.

I photographed this big red dragonfly while testing the Tamron 18-400mm, read my take on the lens on my blog.

The bokeh in this photo is amazing, showing the strength of a telelens.

Finding a sweet spot took me a while to find but in my opinion, I did. In the photo I used breakthrough photography filters: ND 6 stop / GND 3 stop soft.

After Phuket, Koh Lanta is one of the largest islands of Thailand. The beaches, however, are most of the time desolate compared to Phuket or some other larger islands.

Khlong Khong beach is a 3 kilometer long stretched beautiful soft sand beach. The photo is a long exposure using a 6-stop ND filter and 3-stop GND soft.

A hibiscus or less widely known as rose mallow (Chinese Roos in Dutch) spotted in the wild.

The nature in Thailand, or Asia in general, is often quite stunning. This photo was taken in near Khao Sok National park, Thailand.
